You always got to be your harshest critic. I feel that my introduction was pretty good. I had an interesting story of Peter Snell overcoming the odds . I did not come up and say "I like running and I work hard". I had a specific thesis statement. I felt that my ideas were clear: I enjoy running and I work hard as Dr. Snell did to train for the Olympics.
I noticed that I have somewhat long pauses when I speak. I need to practice more to stop these. I also moved my head up a lot; I need to stop doing that. I messed up my preview of the speech at 3:28. But as written in Ch. 2.1 One-point Speech and more, communication is key and I think I achieved that goal.
